Vibrant and unmistakable, the scarlet macaw, known in Venezuela as the guacamaya, is more than just a burst of color in the sky. With its striking red, yellow, and blue feathers, it’s a symbol of freedom, presence, and tropical vitality.

In this portrait, the macaw rests with its beak gently tucked into its feathers, a gesture common among parrots that reflects rest, warmth, and self-care. A subtle yet meaningful act of calm, captured in a quiet moment.

This piece was inspired by a real encounter during a walk through Parque del Este in Venezuela. What began as a fleeting photograph became a reflection on stillness. Even the most radiant creatures pause, and in those pauses, we find unexpected beauty.

Guacamaya is printed on a 30″ x  30″ premium cotton canvas and set in a floating frame that enhances the piece with a clean, gallery-style finish that’s ready to hang and enjoy.

This is a Limited Edition piece, only 10 will be produced, each one is carefully hand-embellished and personally signed, making each artwork truly one of a kind.
