El Seibo II

Captured near Uvero Alto on the road to Miches, El Seibo is a quiet tribute to the majesty of the Dominican landscape. Taken in 2021 during a golden sunset, this image frames a distant view of the mountains just as the sun slips behind the ridge, casting a dramatic outline of tree silhouettes along the horizon. The result is a play of shadow and glow, simplicity and depth.

This painterly artwork, born from a spontaneous stop on a rural roadside, invites the viewer into a moment of stillness, where nature pauses and the the light hides on the horizon.

This piece is part 2 of a diptych: two artworks that speak to each other but can also live independently.

This part of El Seibo is printed on a 15″ x  15″ premium cotton canvas and set in a floating frame that enhances the piece with a clean, gallery-style finish that’s ready to hang and enjoy.

This is a Limited Edition piece, only 10 will be produced, each one is carefully hand-embellished and personally signed, making each artwork truly one of a kind. 

Each piece is signed, titled on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that includes the edition number and other artwork information.
